Hello, friends, and welcome. If you have any interest in Mindfulness Studies, you probably have some experience with mindfulness practice itself. And if so, then you know its value, both to oneself individually, to try to understand oneself better and how we work in the world, but also as a tool for helping others in so many emerging professions: healthcare, mental health, education, and so many others. If you have an interest in pursuing Mindfulness Studies further, professionally, and perhaps even building a career around it, then you really want to look closely at the program here at Lesley. So far, it is the first, and even still the only, program in the country that will be granting you a master's degree from an accredited university.
And as we know, this degree is universally respected, accepted as an important credential, and is a valuable tool for your future growth. My name is Andrew Olendzki. I'm the Director of the Mindfulness Studies program here at Lesley University. And I invite you and encourage you to look at our program and see how it's going to help you. It really is an ideal blend of rigorous academic background and mindfulness on the one hand, a strong experiential component involving daily practice, retreat experience, internship experience. And it provides a rich opportunity for networking with your cohort members in the program. Take a look at it, and I think you'll find it valuable. Thank you.
